Vice-Chair, Allianz Global Investors and keynote speaker at the 2017 Social Investment Academy
Elizabeth Corley is non-executive Vice-Chair of Allianz Global Investors. In 2016, she was elected to the Board of Governors of the CFA Institute and in 2014, she was asked by HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the FCA to chair a panel of market practitioners to contribute to the Fair and Effective Markets Review. Elizabeth also chaired an advisory group to the UK government on how to make socially themed investments more available to individuals resulting in the Government report “Growing a Culture of Social Impact Investing in the UK“. She now leads an industry Implementation Taskforce focusing on bringing those recommendations within this report to life.
Elizabeth will be presenting the awards to Impact Champions at this year’s Social Investment Academy held on 8th November 2018.
When asked to comment on her involvement she says: “I welcome the launch of the Social Investment Academy Impact Awards. This initiative from Worthstone supports the objectives of the Implementation Taskforce to improve the knowledge and confidence of financial advisers and wealth managers in the sector. I hope it will help to both stimulate and celebrate progress in social impact investment.”
